Candlestone Course Details - Belding Golf
Make the “Home of the West Michigan Amateur Golf Tournament” your home for golf!
Are you looking for a challenging place to golf? Look no further than Candlestone Golf & Resort, a premiere 18-hole, par 72 golf course.
We're proud to be the home of the West Michigan Amateur Golf Tournament and proud to have you come out for a round, an outing or an extended stay-and-play.
The course, opened in 1978, was designed by Jerry Matthews, then remodeled in 2009 by Michael Husby. The course these men shaped and reshaped takes full advantage of the natural terrain here, once an apple orchard. Majestic pines and hardwoods line the fairways with rolling terrain, beautiful fairways and lush greens.
Water comes into play quite often here, as holes two, three, four, eight, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 16 afford you the risk of getting a wet ball. Bunkers — 52 in all — offer yet more challenge.
