How well you drive the ball can determine the success of your game. In very much the same way, the drive shown by the new owners of Candlestone will determine how successful they will be in their mission of turning a good golf resort into a great golf resort.

We're happy to report: Mission accomplished!

Since opening in the late 70's, Candlestone has stood as one of West Michigan's finest golf courses.
We're still on track with that benchmark as our aim.

New ownership of the entire resort in the summer of 2008 has seen improvement after improvement.

Along with new everything here at Candlestone, there's a new attitude that ensures your enjoyment on every visit.

We feature 31 new tee complexes, constructed to offer you more teeing options. Next — improve the look and maintenance practices around every green. To do this, every sand trap on the golf course was re-shaped and new USGA spec sand was added.

Along the way, over 25 new sand traps have been added to enhance the look of the course. A brand new fleet of electric golf carts have been purchased. The new owners have promised to keep Candlestone's golf course the best it can be by continuing to make improvements for your golf enjoyment.

A new 4,200 square foot golf cart storage facility has been erected, adjacent to the new bag storage facility, which is also adjacent to the new bag drop area.

One thing left to make new: Make Candlestone your course of first choice!
We offer are golfers a fair-yet-challenging round of golf, with the second-most difficult rating in the area. For visitors or overnight guests, all of our lodging accommodations have been upgraded for your total comfort.
